Description:   
Participate in f architecting, designing and creating solutions that create, maintain and extend software products and technology service offerings that focus on serving the needs of internal business stakeholders, retailers and other businesses that utilize accounting and inventory management, e-commerce, point of sale, and payment processing technologies.
 
Essential Function
Independently and collaboratively designing and develop new software products, modules and features.
Participate on scrum teams and with other engineers in the design and code of software features that adhere to delivered design requirements. Peer review and approve the work of other engineers.
Collaborate with other developers on feature integration into the overall architecture and larger systems design. Design and code software features that adhere to delivered design requirements
Perform unit testing of code created.
Participate in the testing/fix quality assurance cycle
Collaborate with other developers on feature integration into a larger system
Maintain existing software products and services
Correct software deficiencies (bugs)
Add features and enhancements that adhere to delivered design requirements
Perform unit testing of code created
Collaborate as part of a development team
Participate in weekly status meetings
Participate in  planning and design sessions
Provide weekly updates on project progress to project/program management
Research and make recommendations to the group regarding new technology available and its proper application
Contribute to the product specification process
Create new software/feature design specifications
Peer review and provide feedback on specifications created by others
Negotiate with product marketing/stakeholders on technical issues that impact deliverable goal viability
Draft documentation for development projects
Comment code to provide clarity during later rework/reuse projects
Create “rough draft” documentation of software products for revision by QA and technical writers
Other Duties as Assigned by Manager
 
Desired Qualifications
More than 3 years of experience in Salesforce customization and development
More than 3 years of experience in Salesforce administrate
Knowledge of Salesforce APEX development
Knowledge of general sales business process
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and XML Salesforce.com Certified Force.com Developer preferred
Salesforce.com Architecture, Design, Development, Administration and Operational Support required
Create and maintain a code library so that code can be reused.
Knowledge of, and experience applying, object oriented architecture, design and programming concepts
Experience with SQL database programming concepts, including database architecture, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance/scalability considerations
Knowledge with the development environments used within the assigned product group (e.g.  .Net, Visual Studio, Microsoft, C#, Microsoft SQL Server 2005-2008)
Experience with integration to COTS application to internal  and extended enterprise systems
Force.com developer toolkit - Apex, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, Force.com Migration Tool, Web Services/SOA & Metadata APIs SQL
Agile SDLC experience
Working knowledge of cloud computing and modern web technologies.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of Products.
Keen attention to detail with the ability to meet aggressive deadlines.
Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and to integrate business processes across disparate systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including basic technical writing abilities
Ability to multi task and function effectively in a fast paced environment and demonstrate flexibility.
Participate in code review with members of the development team
Participate in joint development efforts with the greater development team
Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills
Financial Services / Retail Brokerage, Call Center experience is a plus
B.S. in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience
