Description:   

Client is looking for someone who has been responsible for managing a group that deploys vendor software.

 

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Significant experience managing the deployment of vendor software

8+ years’ experience in release management/system administration or other similar technical field.

Experience managing a team of technical professionals

Expertise in enterprise system configurations, operations and automation.

Expertise in software management/development (Java, Perl, Ruby or Python)

Expertise in engineering relevant to reliability, availability, scalability and performance

Expertise in software engineering tools and best practices

Expertise in Unix & Windows Administration

Excellent problem-solving/troubleshooting skills, fast learner

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience

Experience or interest in Finance a plus

Database experience a plus – Oracle/MSSQL skills
