Description:   

Multiple positions at several levels

 

Company is looking for Python mavens to fortify their server infrastructure that connects to various data services and computational engines running in R. They have lots of data, so you need to be comfortable with data pipelines and managing data as sets.

 

 

Desired Skills & Experience

- Have an engineering or comparable degree/experience

- Know asynchronous Python

- Nice to have some R experience

- Know bash, awk, sed, unix concepts and some Java

- Understand functional programming beyond map-reduce

- Understand web application architectures and back-end server architectures

- Have experience with message queues and buses (e.g. RabbitMQ)

- Have experience with NoSQL data stores (e.g. Redis)
