Qualifications:

4+ years of related experience (preferably at least two years in public accounting and auditing)

Experience with the preparation of financial statements and SEC 10-Q/Ks

Working knowledge of SEC rules and regulations

Working knowledge of FASB accounting and disclosure requirements for the financial services industry

Ability to identify, research and offer recommended solutions for moderate to complex financial reporting issues

Strong organizational and analytical skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks

Strong written and oral communication skills

Detail oriented

Strong proficiency in Excel and Word

Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team

 

Preferred Qualifications:

CPA (or CPA candidate)

Experience with general ledger and Hyperion Essbase

Understanding of XBRL requirements and experience with XBRL tagging

Project management experience for moderate to complex projects

 

Contribute to disclosure groups, which oversee the quality of processes for gathering necessary disclosure information and develop the relevant commentary and financial disclosures for the external reports quarterly.
