Qualifications

• a minimum of 6 years of direct, relevant and recent accounting/audit/risk work experience

• a BA/BS in Accounting (preferred) or Finance and,

• 3 years of proven leadership and management experience.

 

The candidate must

• be able to evaluate processes, identify exposures, and evaluate controls

• be effective working across organizational boundaries

• have a proven experience to provide creative solutions, initiate change and manage the effort to implement changes

 

Must be able to do some business travel.

 

Preferred Skills

Work experience within the financial services industry and public accounting and/or audit experience is a strong plus as is a relevant professional designation such as CPA, CIA or MBA.
