This position is for the international group located in midtown. They are looking for someone with a couple of years experience. Role will have two parts: 1. ledger work 2. working on world wide reporting. Working with international groups, QC, analytical work and balance work. They are looking for strong Excel, the other computer skills listed are pluses

Job Description:	General Responsibilities · Record journal entries in our corporate general ledger and reconciliation of specific accounts on a monthly basis. · Analytical review of mainly International subsidiary financial statement submissions fielding questions from parent company. · Accounting for and reconciliation of International subsidiary intercompany loan accounts, including interest accrual. · Reconciliation of Domestic Billings Analysis Ledger vs. subsystem vs. Cartesis database. · Intercompany Analysis · Maintain and prepare dividend schedules · Prepare analytical review and variance analysis of income statement and balance sheet movement for international and domestic entities. · Educate the subsidiaries on Hyperion reporting and monitor the accuracy and timeliness of their monthly submissions · Periodic special projects. · Ability and desire to become well versed in Cartesis software · Being able to multitask coordinating obtaining information from a multitude of International and Domestic entities. Requirements · Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. · Strong analytical skills. · Good knowledge of PC based computer systems - emphasis on Excel · Knowledge/experience working with Hyperion Software (our "old system) and Cartersis (our new system) a plus, but not required. · Working Knowledge/experience in consolidations, equity method accounting, and foreign currency exchange (not required, but a plus) Other · Minimum 2-4 years job experience - general ledger/ financial statement preparation and analysis ,
