Job Description: | Responsible for leading the next generation development of Competencies: · 10-15 years of experience with information systems development or implementation with progressively more complex responsibilities in a client service oriented environment required. · Understanding and experience in a fixed income management company or middle/back office environment required. · Working knowledge or experience with CRD · Good general knowledge of asset management principles, domestic and international investment processes · Clearly understands purposes, objectives, practices and procedures of the Compliance Department and related business units. · Demonstrated excellence in leading and managing developers and business analyst w/documentation and presentation tools required to support efforts · Maintains a solid knowledge of corporate and departmental information system strategies · Advanced written/oral communication skills; able to make technical or non-technical material understandable to the business units and to conduct meetings. Responsibilities: · Manages team of developers and business analysts to work directly with clients within the organization and with outside parties to identify operational business requirements with sufficient detail and clarity to allow IT solution development · Manages the analysis of client requirements in project areas such as: IT testing and product acceptance, new business operating models with innovative approaches to IT solutions support, research of emerging or available product functionality, and operational readiness assessments · Acting as strategic business partner working in cross-functional task forces to identify and document functional requirements, work flow, information sources and distribution paths, and system specification · Oversees the production and maintenance of documentation including open items log, system requirements, systems design and testing plans · Accountable for providing leadership and independent initiatives in facilitating and conducting information gathering structured documentation and presentation of findings · Evaluates existing application products which could address client requirements and develops recommendations where appropriate. |
