Details, details, details! You care whether your i's are dotted and your t's are crossed. Keeping all the balls up in the air is the gist of the Sr. Business Analyst role. You plan and directs analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. In addition, this role is responsible for the coordination of projects involving multiple groups within the VMU organization. Here's the job: Accountable for appropriate analysis, documentation, implementation of business requirements and cross-organizational project based on agreed upon requirements. - Consult with business units to identify and facilitate documentation of business needs and objectives in the context of formal Business Change Requests, current operational procedures and system requirements including the review of submitted systems enhancements for system feasibility and customer impacts working with business to refine and guide requirements as appropriate.
- Consult and coordinates with developers to design and develop automated solutions. Facilitates cross functional resolution of development and/or operational issues related to assigned projects throughout release cycle. Ensures supporting documentation accurately reflects agreed upon development efforts.
- Facilitate and review test plans during system development and quality assurance testing. Participate in User Acceptance testing and facilitate issue resolution including communicating end state solutions to business.
- Consult with business unit management and personnel to clarify requirements during system development and evaluate alternatives.
Requirements: Bring us 5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst. You should have working knowledge of software involving word processing,spreadsheets, diagrams (Visio) and project management. Experience with embedded software, SMS, MMS, WAP and Multimedia (MP3, video, expansion memory, etc), WAP, Web, IVR, Seibel or Telecordia is a plus, but not required.
