The successful candidate will be assigned as a Database Generation Lead for multiple simulation efforts in a business area. The candidate will lead a multi-company team in the development, integration, and test of visual and sub-system database products. The position will require experience in both cost and schedule responsibilities, in addition to providing technical oversight for multiple database simulation projects. Technical emphasis for this position will require significant knowledge of a variety of commercial simulation support tools and processes, which are to be further integrated into the current workflow processes.

Other responsibilities include the evaluation of requirements and system architecture as input criteria for high level database design; integration of new technologies; development of test plans and procedures; identification of issues with current software baseline; coordinating resolution of issues with development teams; acting as a primary technical interface with engineers and developers of other Lockheed Martin sites for database related issues.
Candidate Must Have :
* Experience with commercial simulation support tool infrastructure; Terrex TerraVista, Multigen CTS, Multigen Creator, ESRI ArcGIS, Erdas Imagine; Terrain/sub-system database outputs: OPENFLIGHT, CTDB, OTF, and SEDRIS
* Strong systems/software engineering process background
* Scripting and programming experience
* Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
* Proven leadership skills, where continual interpersonal interactions with the customer, sub-contractors, remote site support teams is required
