Job Title: Conversion Analyst
Salary $60000 - $80000 + bonus
Job Description / Primary Responsibilities
- Assist the Integration team in the preparation of client conversion project plans
- Analysis, testing and handling of client trade data
- Work with the Development team on client data loaders
- Reconciliation of trades and positions during conversion
- Create new OTC instruments in security master
- Support Middle and Back Office during the transition from conversion to daily processing
- Provide internal system training when required
- Work with Middle Office and Development teams in functional testing of all new software releases and system enhancements
Education:
BS or BA in Accounting / Finance / Economics / Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Experience:
- Strong analytical, organization, and communication skills
- Self motivated and project oriented
- Must be proficient in MS Excel
- Efficient in researching discrepancies between trade files and front end systems
- Ability to work under severe pressures and with strict deadlines
- Good working knowledge of derivative instrument products
- Basic understanding of securities accounting
