This position requires at least 7 years of retail management experience. Must have process experience in assortment planning, planning or allocation, as well as experience with IT Strategy work. This Senior Consultant role is responsible for producing work products that support a major consulting engagement as well as leading and directing medium sized consulting engagements. The Senior Consultant works with client organizations to help them understand and take the best advantage of enterprise-wide business, organizational, functional and information technology strategies. The Senior Consultant provides frequent communications to the principal or practice leader regarding progress of the consulting engagement as well as assessing alternatives regarding critical judgments and substantive issues relative to the engagement.
Our Supply Chain Management practice, recognized as an industry leader, is composed of six practices that span a variety of transformation engagements for our clients: Supply Chain Strategy, Product Life Cycle Management, Supply Chain Planning, Transportation and Logistics, Procurement, and Supply Chain Operations Consulting for Financial Institutions. Our Global Business Services Supply Chain consultants work in cross functional teams with executives to analyze supply chain performance, develop plans/business cases and guide implementation of projects that drive competitiveness for our clients. SCM practitioners work closely with IT solution architects to identify best fit technology that addresses the needs of our clients. Since the majority of our consulting work is done at our client sites, this position requires up to 100% travel.
Candidate Must Have :
* Over 7 years of Retail Merchandising system implementation experience
* BS degree
* Subject Matter Expertise: Replenishment, merchandise planning
* MUST BE US Citizen � or Green Card
* 100% travel
It is expected that newly hired resources live within a reasonable commuting distance (generally 50 miles) of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; Hartford, CT; Houston, TX; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL; New York City, NY and surrounding area; Philadelphia, PA; San Francisco, CA; and Washington, DC.
Ideal candidates will have consulting experience and have worked with systems such as RETEK, JDA, or other 3rd party retail packages.
