This position will provide support to the NAVOCEANO High Performance Computing Center, a DOD Major Shared Resource Center (MSRC) site at the Stennis Space Center, MS. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for managing Systems Administration. Responsibilities to include:

� Leading a cross-center, multi-discipline team to Design, Implement and Manage the next generation petascale storage architecture; responsibilities to include:
- Storage Technology Exploration, Selection and Validation
- Trade Studies and Briefings to Senior Management
- Architecture Development and Validation
- Implementation Plan
- Technology Migration Plan

� Managing a high performing Systems Administration team
- Ensure high availability (>99%) of large High Performance computing resources
- Test, evaluate and implement emerging software and hardware technology
- Develop technology roadmaps for all key technologies

- Analyzes internal or external customer needs, and determine equipment and software requirements for solutions to problems.

- Establishes system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software compatibility.

Candidate Must Have :
* Experience designing, implementing and/or maintaining a large scale, 500 TB New Storage Management Architecture
* Experience in and or leading SUN System Administration group, inclding experience with Enterprise level servers such as E10K and F15K
* Must have excellent customer/user interaction skills to successfully address the assignments of this position
