Salary 115K - 125K + bonus

Overview:
Messaging Engineer whose responsibilities include e-mail and instant messaging for Financial Services.

Candidates should be creative innovators with a proven track record of engineering, deploying and supporting Microsoft Exchange 2003 clusters and Instant Messaging technologies (MS LCS and Pariano) in a mission critical production environment within the Financial Services industry.

Candidates should be knowledgeable of industry trends in messaging and have strong communications skills - both written and verbal.

Responsibilities include product evaluations, infrastructure design, technical documentation and third tier support escalation. Areas of responsibility include Exchange 2003/2007, Instant Messaging, antivirus, antispam, message archiving and journaling, as well as business recovery/distaster recovery.

 Requirements:
•     Minimum of five years experience with technical and engineering responsibilities
•     Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong analytical, decision-making, problem solving skills and multi-tasking skills
•     Ability to closely interact with the business unit to gather requirements and design a solid solution
•     Creative innovator who can articulate strategic vision. Consistently evaluate new technologies that could support business direction and needs
•     Knowledge of communication compliance requirements for the financial industry
•     Status Reporting - Ability to multi-task and track status on several projects at once. Project documentation.

•     SAN/NAS - EMX Centera / Netapp Filers
•     Software – Microsoft Exchange 2000, 2003 server, MSCS clusters, Instant Messaging technologies (Parlano MindAlign, Microsoft Live Communication Server).
•     Microsoft Forefront Antivirus (Sybari Antigen), SurfControl Anti-spam
•     TCPIP Application Protocols - DNS, DHCP, SMTP
•     Authentication Protocols - Active Directory, LDAP
