Senior Windows Systems Engineer
Salary 120K - 140K +
They specifically need an energetic, highly motivated, goal oriented, Senior Windows Systems Engineer to design and implement solutions in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
The candidate will work in a team environment contributing technical expertise to the evaluation, design, build and delivery of complex solutions.
Must be a team player and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills since they will participate in meetings with members of various project teams as well as business clients. The candidate must present themselves in a professional and intuitive manner.
To perform these tasks successfully, the Engineer must possess the skills below:
Required skills:
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory including design, management, trusts, Acct lockout troubleshooting, DFS, Group Policy, etc.
• User & SID migration/cleanup experience
• Sharepoint 2003
• Windows 2000/2003 – Administration, WINS, troubleshooting, IIS
• Quest Active Roles
• Double-Take
• Scripting (VBS, Jscript, Powershell)
• SMS
• SQL (7, 2000, 2005)
• St. Bernard – Shavlik NetChk & other patch management products
• Citrix technologies
• Experience with GFI SELM, LogLogics or similar Event log monitoring products
• Good written and oral communication skills
• 5+ years of experience
Good analytical & problem solving skills
• Team-oriented
• Good documentation skills
Desired skills:
• Familiarity Exchange 2000/2003
• Sharepoint 2007
• Financial company experience preferred
• .NET development
