SOFTWARE TEST SPECIALIST/QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST
Currently we are looking for a mid-level Software test specialist at our corporate headquarters. The basic purpose of this position is ensuring client satisfaction by testing software and thereby reducing errors. This position is perfect for someone who has at least three years of experience and no more than six.
Responsibilities will be to test new software, verify bug fixes, develop test cases, test plans, track and report on defects, write technical documentation, test all critical updates, security patches, service packs prior to release on production, document all change management processes, test the released product on a production environment, and other duties may be included.
The qualified candidate will possess a Bachelor’s education or equivalent experience and a minimum of 3 years of QA experience. Excellent communication skills, ability to independently set goals and follow through, Web testing experience (.NET preferred), strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, strong technical & networking knowledge, and knowledge of IIS and SQL Server 2000
