RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily activities of one of the z/OS Operating Systems Support teams. Duties include providing tactical leadership and guidance to enable team members to successfully complete project and support objectives; management and reporting of project and system software planning; change management; disaster recovery; staff training; and strategic planning/architecture. Also required will be completing assigned administrative tasks, such as staff time tracking, approving change requests, and generating status reports for the team.

REQUIREMENTS: Experience working in an IBM z/OS environment with demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills is required. A minimum of fifteen years of combined experience with at least three as a supervisor/manager of Mainframe Systems Programmers is necessary to succeed in this position. Experience in Storage Management, DB2, IMS,
CICS, VTAM, or TCPIP Systems Programming is a plus.

Provide after hours 24x7 on call support as an escalation point
Use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) effectively
Provide clear technical direction and mentor others

� Excellent verbal and written communication skills
� Strong technical documentation skills
