Compensation: $75K - $100K / Year

Jobcode: SS277JATo provide technical and business services for the company’s product line. Provide in-depth system configuration and deployment strategy analysis in pre and post sales situations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must, as is experience in the prioritization of work. Experience with the construction, configuration and/or use of infrastructure tools (knowledge bases, task automation, etc.) is also a plus.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conduct successful technical discovery meeting with customers to clarify their production environment requirements.
• Be proficient in presentation skills and be able to show all company's products and articulate features, functions and benefits with a “solution” approach.
• keeping management informed of the progress and status of open issues
Respond to escalated issues from customers
• Escalate to management issues and problems that require attention
• Keep Company recording mechanisms updated in a timely and appropriate manner
• Advise and assist with:
• Definition of technical strategy
Mentoring, advising and coaching other members of the team Promoting the department internally and externally and especially with external communications as competent, professional and customer focused
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelors degree (or related experience) in an appropriate discipline
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced problem handling/solving skills
• Wiliness to work additional hours when required.
Strong customer relationship experience.
• Strong technical understanding, together with the ability to work closely and cooperatively within the engineering team and with other members of the team.
• Ability to work independently with minimal instruction and interface with the other members of the Company (technical and non-technical) for clarifications
• Ability to manage and drive issue resolution from start to finish
• Experience of software architectures and programming languages
o 7-10 years experience dealing with customers in a pre and post sales capacity, including work experience with at least two: BEA, Tibco, WebMethods, Vitria, IBM WebSphere, SeeBeyond, Oracle’s Fusion Group, etc
o Experience with middleware integration adapters and Web Services in various operating system and hardware configurations.
Experience with positioning Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) a plus.
o Experience with Web-based application services and architecture; XML, Java, JavaScript, Microsoft .NET technology.
o Extensive programming experience in third and fourth generation languages, with experience using FOCUS/WebFOCUS, and iWay data adapters a plus.
o Willingness to travel globally.

o Knowledge of SQL and one relational DBMS
o Range of operating systems (preferably on Unix platforms) desirable
