Responsibilities:

Candidate will work with existing database staff in these areas:
Ensuring the high availability, performance and security of the production database.
Tuning at the instance and SQL statement level.
Supporting the test and development database environments.
Requirements

3-5 Years Oracle experience
1+ year experience in Oracle 9iR2 or 10g
Excellent SQL and PL/SQL development skills
Proficiency in Unix shell scripting
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
Ability to work as a part of and with high performing and aggressive teams
Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written
Positive team player, ability to effectively communicate with peers, customers and management
Experience with:
Functions/Procedures/Packages
SQL and PL/SQL Tuning
Views/Materialized Views
Schema Management/Design (DML/DDL)
Preference

BS in Computer Science
Oracle DBA Certification
Experience with:
Oracle Installation (Solaris/Windows)
Oracle Statspack
Oracle Advanced Replication
Oracle Data Guard
Backup/Recovery
Real Application Clusters
Some Unix/Linux SA Experience
