Treasury Analyst NYC SRAJA3 to $75000

Pays 75k. in Soho  in New York City 

 

Reporting to the Manager, Global Treasury Services, the Senior Treasury Analyst will be responsible for the daily management of the company’s bank accounts and collected balance positions, short-term investment portfolio and/or credit lines outstanding, various treasury reporting functions and analyses, and will be the primary interface with Corporate Office and Business Unit Accounting staffs to ensure the proper recording of cash transactions. This individual will also support Treasury’s insurance and risk management activities.

Specific duties include:

• cash control and cash mobilization for all transactional activity;
• banking relations;
  maintenance of electronic funds transfer
• linecodes and authorizations;
  assist on letter of credit issuance and
• documentation discrepancy reviews;
  preparation of month-end treasury management
• reports and follow-up analysis;
  assist in the preparation of cash flow and
• capital structure projections;
  facilitate the issuance of Certificates of Insurance, as required;
• support the data collection efforts related to insurance policy renewals and negotiations;
• prepare month-end and quarterly insurance accruals.

The individual should have hands-on cash management/treasury operations experience in a professional business environment. Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree required. MBA highly desirable.
• Minimum experience of 4-5 years.
• CCM certification a big plus.
• Excellent conceptual and analytical skills with solid broad business judgment.
• Candidate should be comfortable and effective in dealing with senior management, operating management, and external contacts such as bankers and insurance intermediaries.
• Candidate who is an effective manager of both time and resources.
• Capable of dealing with multi-faceted tasks and changing priorities.
• Highly organized and effective in the management of time and resources.
• Must also have an even temperament and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management in the corporate office and field locations.
• Working knowledge of Hyperion Enterprise, PC-based bank cash management systems and applications including Microsoft Word and Excel for Windows.
• Excellent planning and strategic skills, and be entrepreneurial and creative.
