We have a position in portfolio trading group, 6th member of 6 man team that specializes in program and single-stock trading for institutional customers using a proprietary front-end system and pre-post-trade analytics.

 

Skills Desired:

Detail oriented, ability to multi-task

Understanding of equity trading markets and market structure, Series 7 license.

Proficient with Microsoft excel and powerpoint.

 

Responsibilities to include:

 - Generating end-of-day reports/post-trade reports including checking out with the customer at end of day. Check reports for accuracy, completion and reasonability before passing on to end-user

- Become fully proficient user of all internal programs and scripts.  Timely, accurate turnaround time is critical.

- Act as proactive support for group – answer phones, relay floor looks, respond to customer inquiries.

- Help create materials for sales presentations

-Research trade discrepancies on T+1 and act as liaison with middle office to resolve issues in timely manner.

- Become proficient user of a proprietary front-end trading systems.

-Help generate new business leads, assist sales trader’s efforts.  Use any available time to prospect potential portfolio trading customers, assist sales traders in making appointments, tracking progress of sales development, accurate turnaround time is critical.
