SUMMARY:

Help plants solving problems concerning production data processing, reporting, and performance. Provide analysis report and coordinate with management to enhance production efficiency by performing the following duties.  Follow up with Project updates that are assigned to him/her.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

·       Maintain production system: calculate book weight for new products, set up data source file, bill of material file, and machine type.

·       Print daily production reports and verify data. Follow-up unscheduled hours and daily weight variation % for abnormality. Print unscheduled hours daily and enter approved hours in system.

·       Follow-up unscheduled production and collect explanation sheets from plants.

·       Prepare weekly finished goods inventory adjustments report and collect related attachments as needed.

·       Generate, print out, and file month-end reports, and then prepare analysis reports for managers. Prepare inventory products tracking report, product list, and change-over count sheet on monthly basis.

·       Assist Scheduling Department with Scheduling.

·       Be in charge of processing finished goods weekly count for all plants.

·       Process RGM interplant orders for consignments.

·       Travel to plants for inventory audit at least twice a year.

·       Prepare and distribute monthly performance report and abnormal follow-up.

·       Follow up with plants and production department on updates of ongoing projects.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Possess intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Internet/Intranet experience HRIS system preferred.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

 

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
