Client Service Associate

$60K Base, Bonus to 20K

(a.k.a. Sales & Marketing Assoc.)

Experience in Fixed Income Required; Degreed – Career-track role

 

Job Description:

Individual will work on a team with one or more Client Service Executives (CSE’s) to provide cohesive and proactive service to specific client relationships.

 

Responsibilities/Duties:

§         Coordinate standard and custom client reporting

§         Coordinate the development, preparation and review of materials to be used in client meetings

§         Ensure information accuracy and availability on all aspects of client relationship including contact database

§         Manage client relationships with CS Executives

§         Collaborate with CS Executives on account start-up, special projects, guideline issues and other items requiring special attention

§         Keep current on investment strategies, market conditions and key occurrences in worldwide marketplace

§         Work with other CS Teams on relevant projects

§         Identify and develops processes or methodologies that improve service to clients

 

Competencies:

§         Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to interact with both clients and managers in other departments

§         Familiarity with investments and accounting concepts, and understanding of complex fixed income investment products

§         Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

§         Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

§         Three (3) plus years of demonstrated experience

 

Academic Qualifications (minimum requirements):

MBA or Undergraduate degree in Business preferred, with concentration in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.  Investment management or financial services related work experience (preferable greater than 3 years).
