This is a great opportunity to work with an experienced team of system engineers that configure, install, manage, and support a large number of medium to enterprise class systems according to existing procedures, and utilizing in-house and standard Unix tools.  This is a technical hands-on opportunity that deals with the latest Sun technologies as well as opportunities for project oriented development of services and tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field (or equivalent work experience) At least 4 years of experience in UNIX Systems Administration Solid Solaris skills (e.g. installing and configuring hosts, solid understanding of virtual memory, file system concepts, processes, etc.) Solid understanding of networking, and standard network applications (i.e. TCP/IP, ICMP, TraceRoute, TCPdump, etc.) Ability to Script (ksh, bourne) Knowledge of PERL/PYTHON a plus Knowledge of Veritas VM/FS/VCS/Netbackup, Legato Networker/ AlphaStor a plus Strong Project Management Skills Required Strong verbal and written Communication and Documentation skills
