Expertise with the UNIX/LINUX environment, shell scripting, perl and sql Strong working knowledge of FIX. Understanding of equity capital markets, Reg NMS, algorithmic trading Plus programming experience for a distributed environment (C, C++, JAVA). Minimum 2 years in a trading environment as support and/or developer.

Position Overview - Basic Functions & Responsibility	Essential function(s) includes, but is not limited to:
Equities Level II is looking for a candidate with a strong technical and/or development background who have worked in simlar support and/or system operations team for the equity electronic trading business preferably  DMA, program trading, market making and/or algorithmic.  Level II will be expected to develop a thorough understanding of the system they are supporting, including build new QA/Prod environment, provide in-depth research and anaylsis of trade problems, setup and system monitoring, build/release of the system into production and be point person during a system outage.   In short level II is responsible for the operation and stability of the production trading systems.
