RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking to hire a Sr.Software Engineer for ongoing development and enhancements to  a  market-leading enterprise compliance product. We are most interested in individuals with the ability and willingness to quickly master new technologies and become part of a relatively small group (around 10 developers) where the desire to excel is the distinguishing factor. Core skills are object-oriented design as well as experience developing multi-tier software systems with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, C# and the .NET Framework. Strong Relational Database and SQL knowledge is also a must. Candidate must have designed systems / components. Any experience with web services, rule-based systems, or investment software is a big plus. Most importantly, the candidate must possess the understanding of what good code is and the desire to produce and maintain such code.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

*BS/MS Computer Science or equivalent

*Solid object-oriented programming skills in C# (or Java/C++)

* Ability to design and architect systems or subsystems

*7+ years work experience in software development, primarily using Windows based OS platforms

*5+ years work experience in designing and building enterprise systems and/or distributed applications and/or service-oriented architectures

*Experience working with SQL and RDBMS (Relational Database Management Systems)

*Strong written and verbal communication skills

*Experience unit testing and profiling their own code

*Familiarity with technologies such as web services, XML, and COM is highly desirable

*Experience developing financial and/or investment applications is a plus

*Experience working with trade order management or compliance software would be a definite plus!
