Provide the Data Center Operations (DCO) team with leadership and direction on a strategic and tactical level. The DCO team consists of approximately 120 staff members and has a budget of over $20 million. Teams include:

Production Control: Mainframe, Storage/Tape, and Midrange management (Incident, Problem, Change, Situation, Communication, Release, and Service Management) and Print Operations
Network Control: LAN/WAN and Distributed Server management (Incident, Problem, Change, Situation, Communication, Release, and Service Management)
Turnover Services: Mainframe, Midrange, and distributed Release Management, Version Control, Change Management, Job Scheduling, and Storage and Tape Services

The DCO General Manager will establish the vision, and strategic roadmap, to transform the DCO from a highly mature technology driven organization to a customer centric, cost effective infrastructure services team committed to a new standard in service delivery of the NCC Brand Promise.

The DCO General Manager will evolve current operational metrics to focus on delivering high quality, value added services to all clients of the Data Center. In this capacity, the General Manager will act as the executive sponsor of Six Sigma projects to �lean� the operations side, as well new capability projects driven by customer demand for newer, high value services. This role must work across all infrastructure teams to deliver tightly integrated services, and manage initiatives that utilize team members in a �matrix� fashion.

Daily production availability, performance, and capacity responsibility is implied within the role. Continued and sustained operational excellence is expected. Proactive monitoring of enterprise growth, as well as predictive modeling in budgeting are all core to the operational success of the DCO group. Working and operational knowledge of large Mainframe, AS/400, Unix, Tandem, Windows, Cisco environments is a must.

Finally, the DCO General Manager will be accountable for organizational change management to enable the transformation to a service based culture. Key emphasis will be placed on staff leadership and coaching, talent identification and growth, succession and workforce planning, and fostering mentorship within the line management team.

Ideal candidate traits for this role will have:

Experience
i. ITIL
ii. Six Sigma Methodologies
iii. Enterprise Risk Assessment
iv. Enterprise Security
v. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity
vi. At least 10 years in Infrastructure or ISP production support leadership roles (preferably large corporate environment with 5,000+ MIPS, 5,000 servers, 30,000 clients).
vii. Experience with Network security issues, application development processes, large scale project sponsorship and financial oversight.

Leadership
i. Leading both matrix and hard line assigned teams of people greater than 100.
ii. Spearheading projects and recovery efforts that cross application, infrastructure, and organizational boundaries.
iii. Promoted by current management team within last 2 years.

Work Location:
Primary location Cleveland OH, with occasional regional travel of less than 25%

You and your skills -
� Masters Degree a plus
� Five or more years of management experience in Systems or related businesses
� Experience in managing a job shop based team
� Experience in managing a large staff of professionals
� Solid understanding of systems development tools, methods and techniques
