HR MANAGER/GENERALIST - $100k-$125k --NEW YORK, NY

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager/Generalist to work in a financial institution.  The candidate will provide HR expertise to over 600 employees, and provide support in Information Technology.  Experience in financial services strongly preferred

 

The candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and strategic HR consulting to the business manager on most complex HR issues.  Must thoroughly understand business unit strategic and tactical plans and will work with managers to identify HR implications.  

Required Skills:
10+ Years specific Technology HR experience within the HR centers of excellence (employee relations, comp & benefits and training)
Excellent communication, organizational, PC and negotiation skills are required
Knowledge of employment law is a must
PHR or SPHR certified is a plus
Ability to interact with all levels of employees in an effort to negotiate, consult, problem identification and resolution, organization, planning, prioritization and time management
Demonstrated ability to gain a general understanding of business units supported within Information Technology as an HR generalist

Education: BS or BA Degree Required
