Software Development Trainer and Developer

In the technical trainer role, the successful candidate will develop and
deliver technical training to R&D developers. The team works closely
with R&D to analyze technical training needs and to provide training for
job skills, as well as professional development programs.

The Software Training Tools team builds customized applications to by
used by the R&D group and other internal customers. The team works with
the latest technologies and serves as both trainers and software
engineers to a technical staff of 2,000. They seek a highly
motivated individual to serve the dual role of technical trainer and
software engineer.

In the software engineer role, the ideal candidate will be responsible
for building, enhancing and maintaining intranet applications and tools
in support of R&D. The candidate will have proven experience in
designing, architecting web enterprise applications, and building
complete solutions.

Qualifications
* A Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or
related field
* 4 years of hands-on C/C++ development experience
* 2 years of full-life cycle web applications development experience
with Java/J2EE or other frameworks, application servers and/or
Apache
*Solid understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Modular/
Object-Oriented design
*Experience with database technologies (Oracle, MySQL)
*Knowledge of XML, SOAP, PHP, and Perl
*Knowledge of Struts, JSF, Symphony or other MVC frameworks is a
plus
*Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
*Ability to multi-task
*Ability to work well independently and under pressure

Salary to about 130K + bonus (25K+)
