SEC Reporting Manager - (US-MA-Waltham)

This position will be primarily responsible for SEC reporting, including form 10-Q, 10-K, S Filings, etc. In addition, the individual will also be responsible for management reporting, including the preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with GAAP, SEC regulations, and Company policies and procedures.Will also conduct special projects as assigned.

2. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
. Preparation and timely filing of all SEC reporting requirements including, the quarterly 10-Q and 10-K Reports. Also responsible for maintaining SOX compliance in relation to financial reporting.
. Leads the initial interpretation of new accounting pronouncements or SEC requirements to determine the impact on the consolidated financial statements. Responsible for drafting new footnotes as required for inclusion in the 10-K or 10-Q reports (including the research of alternative methods to determine the best for use in the financial statements).
. Coordinates the preparation and review of statements of consolidated operations, statements of consolidated shareholders' equity, consolidated balance sheets and statements of consolidated cash flows. Coordinates the preparation of schedules and analysis required for disclosure in the Company's 10-K and 10-Q Reports.
. Accountable for ensuring the quality and timeliness of all responsibilities within reporting, including balancing workload, reviewing work, and reporting on a regular basis.
. Responsible for drafting the quarterly earnings release.
. Liaisons with external auditors and regional finance teams on all financial reporting and accounting issues.
. Other duties and special projects as assigned.


3. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
. Four-year accounting degree with a minimum of five years general accounting experience (CPA and Big 4 experience is a must).
. Extensive experience in the preparation of SEC forms including 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K and S filings.
. Strong analytical skills and ability to produce professional level reports.
. Must be proactive, detail-oriented, self-starting, and able to take responsibility and maintain a very high quality and accuracy level in reporting.
. Strong communication skills
. Ability to work in a fast paced environment
