This position is responsible for the architecture and development of new functionality and enhancing the existing applications. The highly talented and energetic Sr. Java Programmer will play a key role within the Development Group. Produce detail design and write code for J2EE platforms components and application frameworks/utilities. Analyze requirements, provide technical guidance, and suggest implementation solutions. The candidate should also possess strong analytical, problem solving, verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask, work independently and within a team. Demonstrated experience in development including technical design, construction, testing, and implementation. The application development environment is extremely challenging and provides tremendous learning and growth opportunities.



• Identify new architectures, technologies or methods to improve the applications and the development process.

• Identify opportunities for improving performance and stability of applications.

• Develops, tests, and implements web-based applications.

• Review the architectural documents, business specifications and database specifications.

• Organize and perform code reviews.

• Develop and maintain systems/technical documentation through the full software development life cycle.


Specifications / Qualification

- At least 7 years hands-on Java experience building web-based applications

- Expert knowledge of Java/J2EE programming skills, including JSP, Servlets, JDBC, thread and internationalization

- Experience in software development of web applications using JavaScript, Struts, XML, HTML, AJAX, ANT, Eclipse and SVN

- Strong understanding of Internet technology, and MVC Architecture

- Experience in software development using Web Services

- Experience working with Tomcat, MS SQL and Windows

- Knowledge of Design Patterns. Object oriented analysis and design with working knowledge of UML.

· Experience working within a team environment and with cross functional groups.

· Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
