Compression Systems Module Center's Structural Composites Part Family is playing an important role in enabling the success of future engine programs by developing lightweight, high performance fan module components for the JSF and Next Generation Product Family Engines. We currently have an opening for a Part Family Manager. This position reports to the Deputy Engineering Director.

The primary responsibilities of the Part Family Manager are as follows:

- Talent development in the Part Family by assisting in Engineering Standard Work and ACE proficiency assessments and advancements.
- Continuous improvement of Structural Composites Engineering Standard Work by leading teams to identify, prioritize, and execute ESW improvement tasks.
- Support CIPT programs through manpower planning and program staffing decisions.
- Provide technical oversight and management as required for projects supported by the Part Family, ensuring CIPT cost and schedule requirements are met.
- Execute an outsourcing strategy that utilizes external engineering resources where appropriate and simultaneously enables Part Family resources to focus on critical, high-value tasks.
- Work closely with Commodities and Purchasing to insure cost, quality, and delivery requirements are met for composites hardware.
- Reinforce and expand the use of ACE tools within the Part Family.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Structural, or Aerospace Engineering; Master's degree with a concentration in composites is preferred.

Experience/Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership, commitment, and performance on complex projects.
- Good understanding of the fundamental engineering processes, including Product Design and Analysis, Design Review, CCB, Engineering Change, Team Center, EVMS, eQN/MRB, and Program Planning.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency Level 3 or 4 in a technical discipline related to composites design, analysis, manufacturing, or testing.

Candidate Must Have :
* Good understanding of the fundamental engineering processes, including Product Design and Analysis, Design Review, CCB, Engineering Change, Team Center, EVMS, eQN/MRB, and Program Planning.
* Proficiency Level 3 or 4 in a technical discipline related to composites design, analysis, manufacturing, or testing.
