Responsible for direction and supervision of a large professional or technical group. Department revenue usually is in excess of $1.5 million per year. Coordinates project priorities, staffing schedules, and staff assignments to ensure clients are provided the best design capabilities to meet their needs. Responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and maintenance of design engineering programs and efficient, productive utilization of staff in providing high-quality service. Coordinate activities of engineering department or section.
Assign priorities and staff to jobs.
Coordinate time and budget on jobs.
Client contact.
Quality control.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering plus minimum of 12 years of experience. Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Certification Required PE
