The selected candidate for this position will have primary responsibility for designing, developing, qualifying and evaluating effective moist heat, radiation and ethylene oxide sterilization processes for new and current products.
This individual will be required to perform lab supervision, equipment requisition, process definition, process qualification, process documentation and process training.
The incumbent must operate in compliance to international, regional and sterilization standards.
Candidate Must Have :
* B.S. degree in Engineering and 9-13 years of experience, or M.S. in Engineering and 5-7 years of related experience
* Working knowledge of the design, development, qualification, and evaluation of moist heat, radiation and ethylene oxide sterilization processes and their international standards, i.e., AAMI..
* Trained in Six Sigma Quality techniques; Black belt preferred
* Demonstrable project work successes in LEAN enterprise techniques
* Work history in sterilization which includes process definition, process qualification, process documentation, and process training
