We are currently recruiting for Clinical Pharmacists to work at two locations. Inpatient pharmacy services are provided using decentralized and satellite-based pharmacy models. Most of the drug distribution is automated, using a Robot-Rx for cart fills and unit-based cabinets for narcotic and floor stock drug control. The Clinical Pharmacist will practice in a decentralized pharmacy setting, working collaboratively with physicians and nurses to provide care to the patient. Daily activities include drug therapy monitoring, provision of drug information and drug distribution activities. Other areas of involvement include inservices, drug use improvement initiatives, precepting of students and residents, and participation in pharmacy committees.
