2-3 years of systems support.
Expertise in Windows-based operating systems (certifications a plus).
Expertise in Active Directory user administration.
Expertise in Microsoft Exchange messaging platform.
Expertise in backup software platforms.
Expertise in server and storage platforms and hardware.
Experience with network protocols.
Experience with Unix a plus.
Experience with scripting languages a plus.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science or MIS related field preferred.



Responsible for supporting local office and updating existing documentation and procedures to present state.


Responsibilities

Provide high availability and support all production and development systems.
Maintain and support company backup system and all related policies and procedures.
Maintain all production and development system documentation.
Perform user security administration.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development and execution of all projects.
Ensure the timely resolution of all requests and escalating issues when required.
Work closely with I.S. management on daily issues and long-term projects.
Provide excellent service to and maintain good customer relations with the user community.
Support server and local user machines and mobile devices.
Work effectively with other members of the I.S. organization.
Contribute to the improvement of the I.S. department's service to the organization through creative thinking and sharing of ideas.
