a strong UNIX/LINUX system administration background and are intimately familiar with TCP/IP networking and storage networking. You enjoy working on complex production systems. 


You are goal-oriented and can handle interrupts while switching between projects. You favor the “work smarter” approach over the “work harder” one. 

• Configure system and network parameters. 
• Monitor stability and performance. 
• Be part of the team that ensures 24x7 operations. 
• Help develop tools to maintain and monitor the various systems. 
• Write comprehensive documentation.

Requirements for Systems Engineer: 
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience. 
• 3+ years experience with Linux. 
• 2+ years caring for large production systems (more than 100 servers). 
• Proven technical troubleshooting and analytical abilities. 
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, load balancing and Fibre Channel. 
• Demonstrated programming/scripting ability (bourne, perl, python).
