PAID RELOCATIONS AND VISA TRANSFERS AVAILABLE
The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of software configuration, build engineering and Perl applications development to support and improve production build and release environment. This person will have knowledge of an application development support model, work closely with R&D Application Areas and R&D Operations Teams, and help reduce operational risk by improving the overall quality of core product set.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Related Field, or Equivalent Experience
* 5+ years of experience with large-scale builds on a Unix or Linux platform (majority of experience should be on be on a Unix Platform)
* Experience with Korn Shell, UNIX make/GNU make/nmake
* Experience Building Executables using make files
* Experience Troubleshooting Compile and Build Failures
* Experience using source code control systems (e.g.: RCS, Subversion, CVS, ClearCase)
* Experience with Fortran, C and C++
* Experience with AWK/SED and PERL is a Plus
* Networking Experience using TCP/IP, NFS, distributed processes a plus
* Experience with System Administration a plus
* Knowledge of relational databases, Java, and MS Sharepoint is a plus
* Excellent Communication Skills (both verbal and written)
* Excellent Organization Skills
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
