Design, analyze, test and maintain risk reporting applications that support the Global Markets Risk Management Systems activities.

The candidates will report to a Senior Risk Financial Analyst in NY and will work heavily with the Market and Credit risk application management. The projects in scope include the analysis, implementation and maintenance of risk software solutions across several different technology platforms, including the customized vendor product Algorithmics (ALG) and the Market Risk Reserve (MRR), Limits Management System (LMS), Netting Agreement Tracking System (NAT) and Sentry Collateral (SCT).

The job responsibilities include:
*Developing functional and technical specifications
*Develop and maintain applications to support the Credit Risk group
*Production support for ALG/MRR/LMS/NAT/SCT overnight and real-time batch
*Analysis, follow-up and resolution of production issues and changes
*Participate in system and user acceptance tests
*Follow CMM/SDLC project life cycle methodology for all efforts
*Developing and executing test plans
*Provide regular status reports and metrics on assigned projects

Experience required:
*Course work in quantitative finance
*Experience with market or credit risk management and financial trading products.
*Understanding of wide variety of financial instruments and deal with an extensive batch risk reporting system.
*Experience in each of the following: C++, Java, Excel and SQL
*Experience with Unix/Linux a plus.
*Experience participating in project using CMM/SDLC.
*Strong analytical, problem solving, design abilities and fast learner.
*Good oral and written communication skills.

The job holder is responsible for serving as the "go to" thought leader. This individual serves in a cross-program role to ensure quality of the deliverables within their areas of expertise and drives innovation and strategic solutions within global, mission-critical, large-scale programs. S/he has extensive and deep expertise and business domain knowledge in the sophisticated, global capital markets industry; including securities processing, custody, alternative investments (hedge funds/derivatives), clearance, accounting, cash processing, reporting and/or brokerage areas. In at least one of these areas (i.e., SWIFT, securities settlement, derivatives, investment accounting), s/he has deep expertise spanning the associated business, operations and technology areas. S/he will manage and mentor Business Analyst Consultants performing business analysis and testing functions for large-scale mission-critical projects, and as necessary will also participate in requirements development activities. In addition to domain expertise, this individual is an expert in business analysis techniques including requirements development, prioritization and management, use case modeling, and process modeling.

Minimum 12+ years experience of related experience required. Must hold a BS in a business or technical-related field, and a Masters degree is preferred. This includes use case modeling, business process modeling, and formal requirements traceability using tools such as RequisitePro. S/he must have superior communication skills with experience in public speaking at industry forums and executive-level presentations. As well, the job holder must have deep experience in formal workshop facilitation techniques.
