Windows Systems Manager role is to supervise six (6) system engineers and ensure the efficient operation of global
Microsoft application servers, databases, and equipment. This includes managing the IT staff responsible
for monitoring and diagnosing OS, network and hardware problems. The Operations Manager will
also work closely vendors SLA in order to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and
support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.

Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
* Lead department operational planning and projects.
* Work with the key IT stakeholders to define business and systems
requirements for new technology implementations.

* Ensure the efficient utilization of IT resources * including personnel and equipment *
within the Engineering group.
*
* Develop maintenance schedules for network and systems equipment supporting all
global application services.
* Develop methodologies/processes that support the monitoring of change control
successes in areas targeted for improvement.
* Develop and implement functional policies and procedures, including those for network
architecture, standards, and service provision in support of all Microsoft infrastructure services
* .
* Assess change management requirements for deploying new or improved technologies,
standards, practices, policies, and procedures, and apply them to the appropriate
systems.
Position Requirements
Formal Education & Certification
* University degree in the field of computer science or information systems and 5 years
related work experience.
Knowledge & Experience
* Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development.
* Strong understanding of human resource management principles, practices, and
procedures.
* Strong understanding of project management principles.
** Technical knowledge of network and server operating systems, including Windows
2003/2008

* Technical knowledge of current Microsoft network hardware, protocols, and standards.
