The candidate will lead and manage multiple project efforts, develop detailed business requirements, define project efforts, develop detailed project plans, define roles/responsibilities, timelines and dependencies. In addition, this individual will manage the project team comprised of individuals from across the company, facilitate meetings, drive issue identification and resolution, summarize project status and produce effective management reports. Work may encompass projects of all sizes and may involve a combination of project management and business analysis skill sets.
Technical/Functional Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree preferred and 7+ years experience in project management, with 3-5 years experience managing multiple large, complex and cross functional projects with an emphasis on Microsoft technologies, deployments and migrations
• PMI Certification a plus
• Background in ITIL and process improvements (CMMI)
• Expert in MS Office MS Project and Visio required.
• Experience directly managing people, both within their team and in a matrix management environment.
• Experience in dealing and managing project expectations directly with Senior customer directors/managers
• Must be team oriented, great at problem solving, able to juggle multiple priorities and in a dynamic and fast moving environment.
• Proven abilities as a Project Manager utilizing written and oral communication as well as computer software tools are key.
• Ability to gain consensus through mediation, and finding creative and innovative solutions to issues and day-to-day challenges.
• Manage relationship with the customer and define expectations.
• Manage the project budget.
• Facilitate team and customer meetings.
• Communicate all pertinent information to the engineering team and all stakeholders.
• Understand pricing models and billing procedures.
• Provide feedback to employees on performance � provide input to performance appraisals
Critical Success Factors:
• Work experience in a on-site and off-shore model for delivering infrastructure services
• Strong project management skills, ability to lead project with little direction.
• Ability to work with technology/systems groups and business units especially in developing requirements, keeping project team working effectively, oversee and report progress of project.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage and lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organizational, decision-making and conflict resolution skills are required.
