EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field of study. Prefer Master's Degree in Business Administration and/or CPA.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Support the business initiatives of a strategic procurement organization (Global Sourcing & Planning) by providing financial insight, analysis, reporting, planning and project support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare business plans, including annual operating budgets, periodic projections, and strategic plans.
• Support the identification and delivery of cost savings in both direct and indirect spending.
• Provide reporting and analysis for all savings projects and department expenses.
• Represent Global Sourcing & Planning as the primary liaison with Global Operations Finance.
• Provide timely explanations of variances between actual results and forecasts/budgets.
• Perform a financial review and analysis of contracts.
• Negotiate contracts when appropriate
• Selectively lead sourcing projects where capable.
• Develop and periodically generate financial reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5+ years finance experience in a professional business environment.
• Prefer finance experience gained in manufacturing or other supply chain organizations.
•Demonstrated experience with contracts and negotiations.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated proficiency in providing accurate financial analysis in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Strong influencing and people skills.

Candidate Must Have :
* Finance/Accounting degree
* MBA / CPA preferred
* prior experience supporting supply chain/procurement departments
* 5+ years finance experience in a professional business environment.
