Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and end user needs. Formulates application and reporting systems to parallel the corporations overall business strategies. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within financial reporting. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions require exercising independent judgment. Reports to the Great Plains Manager.

Responsibilities:
· Supports Business Unit Managers
· Analyzes business systems design for effectiveness and carries out testing of these systems

· Understands broad strategic issues as well as project details
· Ensures that project plan detail is refined and executed
· May require analysis and formulation of process and practice improvement recommendations
· Able to complete work with general management direction and guidance.
· Assists in monitoring and recording actual project results vs. planned results
· Identifies and recommends solutions to project management on business issues
· Seeks project management direction for resolving major business issues
· Prepares and delivers regular project status reports to project management and project team.
· Well versed in SQL and TRAN-SQL
· Extensive Knowledge of Great Plains administration
· Great Plains support for the Finance and Accounting departments
· Writes orcastrations using GP Integration Manager

· Familiarity with Sharepoint Services, Microsoft Business Portal and Office 200X products.

· Well versed with reporting Tools such as Microsoft SQL Reporting Services, Crystal Enterprise, Business Objects, FRx and Excel Pivot Tables.
· Work with business units to define operational metrics.
· Design and implement Business Information Portals and Digital Dashboards to make operational metrics available to internal departments, clients, and business partners.
· Maintain datafeeds and batch jobs from operational systems into GreatPlains and the Data Warehouse.


Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor Degree in Business or Computer Science preferred
· 3 years solid business background in financial reporting
· 3 to 5 years solid experience in large project management
