For this position, the successful candidate will support Commercial and Military Engine fan and compressors.
Specific responsibilities are to provide the leadership required for successful aerodynamic designs of Fan and Compressor components for flight and ground-based gas turbines that meet aggressive design cycle time and component performance targets. This includes technical and management leadership in the aerodynamic design, computational fluid dynamics analysis, and experimental rig / engine testing of compression systems. Emphasis is on analytical work and testing directed at the performance and operability of compression system modules.
Candidate Must Have :
* MS or PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering
* MS with 10-12 years experience or PhD with 6-8 years experience in the turbomachinery field
