• Samba
• Active Directory and how it integrates with Linux
• Windows security
• Group and user policies
• Microsoft volume licensing
• Windows server 2003 and/or 2008, workstation support (Windows 2000, XP and Vista) and Microsoft Office 2000, 2003 and 2007
• Combined UNIX/Windows printing system support
• Anti-virus and spyware software
• Remote desktop setup and configuration as well as related Microsoft technologies
• Scripting using powershell, shell, perl or VBA to automate tasks
• Citrix, VMWare, Microsoft Exchange and Blackberry Enterprise Server a plus
• Migration/upgrade experience

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in computer science required
• MSCE or work equivalent
• Organized and detail-oriented (extremely important)
• Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
