Responsibilities include leading development and architecture of the company's proprietary content management system and flagship websites. Working in an agile environment, the technical team lead will work closely with developers, a database administrator, a QA engineer, product managers and editors from the magazines. Perform other job related duties.

Required Qualifications
Requirements include experience with:
-Agile/SCRUM Methodology
-Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Apache, Capistrano

Plusses include experience with:
-Online Publishing
-Content Management Systems

2+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures of website administration. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area. The position has need for specialized skills, training and possible industry certifications as well as real-world experience with high-volume enterprise-class websites.
