Perform internal audits within the Bank's Americas Division over all Banking Areas. Document risks and evaluate the adequacy of controls; provide written and oral feedback regarding the results of these reviews. Document all work performed in detailed audit workpapers. Liaise with Audit Management to provide guidance throughout
the year. Tracking and follow-up on outstanding audit and regulatory
issues.
EXPERIENCE: 4-7 years of internal audit experience with a Bank or
related Financial Institution. Strong knowledge of banking products and processes such as loans, letter of credit, EFT, etc. Strong knowledge of bank regulations and compliance. Capital Markets audit experience desired, as well as credit review or analysis experience.
SKILLS: Strong PC skills (MS Office, Lotus Notes, etc.). A
self-starter with strong analytical, interpersonal & communications
skills. Strong written and verbal skills. Ability to work effectively, with focus on client satisfaction. A strong team player.
Travel up to 10% to Canada, Brazil, London, Hong Kong, and the West
Coast, may be necessary.
