Compensation: $70K - $85K / Year

Must have strong Flex, Actionscript and Java skills.
Job Duties include:
Develops and implements UI designs for the company’s software product by building interfaces using HTML, CSS, JSP, and XML
Works closely and effectively with other members of the UI and Development teams to produce interfaces that satisfy the company’s business requirements
Unit tests work and adheres to agreed-upon production requirements
Adheres to version control processes and methodologies
Mentors teammates in XML and JSP technologies
Contributes to and follows the processes and procedures that govern UI’s day-to-day activities and long-term goals
Required Qualifications:
Expert in Adobe Flex and ActionScript
Experience developing reusable Flex components
Good understanding of the Flex data models and integration with remote services such as Blaze DS
Should have strong visual design skills and a flair for developing UI components.
Experience customizing existing Flex components
Understanding of XHTML, DHTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript development skills and cross browser compatibility issues.
Expert skills in hand-coding and debugging HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Intermediate skills in hand-coding and debugging XML, JSP, and Java
Strong understanding of implementation issues related to web accessibility requirements such as the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative and the Section 508 rule
Ability to strike a balance between quality of work and turn around time
Ability and desire to work as a part of a team with web developers and senior software engineers
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Minimum 3 years Web development experience
Minimum 1 year experience with XML, JSP and Java
· Experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle
Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Computer Science or similar discipline) from a four-year college or equivalent
Experience with application servers including WebLogic, WebSphere, and IPlanet preferred
Familiarity with PVCS VM version control software and PVCS Tracker bug-tracking software preferred
