Ensure the availability, integrity and confidentiality of the information and systems used in for running the firm. Specifically: 
· Manage, monitor and secure Microsoft Exchange, Phones, Active Directory, SQL Server, Web Servers, and SAN/ Network File Servers 
· Respond, identify, prioritize, and isolate, the determination and resolution of significant problem events / system failures 
· Ensure, for all systems, capacities are at acceptable levels, data is backed up, and implement archiving procedures 
· Plan for, communicate to management, and implement necessary upgrades as appropriate. 
· Manage licenses and maintenance contracts for approved desktop and server software 
· Maintain, create/delete user accounts, provide spam and anti-virus protection, develop Active Directory Global Policies, and manage Active directory DNS maintenance 
· Verify systems are properly protected and monitor network usage to ensure security of data and access privileges. 
· Identify and resolve interoperability issues between applications. 
· Develop documentation for system configurations and policies 
· Serve as point of escalation to assist Help Desk to resolve difficult user support issues. 
· Assist in coordinating special projects including network related wiring plans, LAN/WAN hardware/software purchases, and system installation, backup, maintenance and problem solving 
· Maintain network user documentation including hardware/software applications, support logs and other related information 

backup coverage of Cisco Network Infrastructure
