The R&D Training and Documentation group is seeking a Project Manager and Coordinator to improve project planning and execution. The department is responsible for developing and delivering technical training for R&D, maintaining an inventory of software tools in support of training and delivering technical writing services for all of R&D. 
The successful candidate will partner with the department manager and individuals in the organization for effective execution and planning of its inventory of projects and initiatives. 

*Responsibilities* 

-Create, and manage inventory of software development, training and documentation projects -Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths. 
-Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. 
-Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions. 
-Track project milestones and deliverables for projects related to training using appropriate tools. 
-Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the projects. 
-Manage day-to-day operational aspects of multiple projects. 
-Coordinate grading assignments, staffing, scheduling and deliverables -Negotiate and interview as necessary toward closure, demonstrating strong conflict resolution skills. 

*Qualifications* 

-5+ years direct work experience in a project management capacity, 
including all aspects of process development and execution. 
-Experience in managing software development projects. 
-Experience in managing and maintaining project inventory, prioritizing and categorization of tasks, costs and risks in a fast-moving environment. 
-Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential. 
-Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. 
-Exhibit a results-oriented attitude and ability to follow through on tasks in a timely and responsible manner -Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments. 
-Strong written and oral communication skills. 
-Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. 
-Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies. 
-Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial. 
-Familiarity with various software development life cycle models. 
-Skilled in the use of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
