Senior Systems Architect with several years’ of work experience in the financial industry. The candidate for this role will be expected to evaluate our current multi-tier application service platform, our performance requirements, and projected growth in order to develop a roadmap leading to a new strategic technical architecture. In addition, the selected candidate will be expected to provide tactical guidance in meeting near term system performance goals. 

Requirements: 
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field. 
Have professional experience of 10 - 15+ years with at least 5 years in the role of systems architect in the financial industry. 
Must have extensive knowledge of databases including Microsoft SQL-Server; Oracle knowledge a plus. 
Must have several years experience with large scale systems base upon the Microsoft Windows .NET platform. 
Experience integrating Microsoft .NET and Java technologies strongly desirable. 
Ability to develop proof of concept prototypes or the ability to guide developers to do the same. 
Must be very focused and driven to succeed 
Have the desire to work in an intense, committed environment with a talented growth company 
Must be based in New York metropolitan are
